Our second graders have been working hard on their narrative writing pieces. They are using small moments from their own lives to write stories. Some of their ideas include special holidays, birthday parties, lost teeth, dance recitals, and vacations. They periodically meet with groups or partnerships to share their writing and give each other advice on how to improve.
